P90X Lean


Alright, so my lemonade diet was unsuccessful - and its been forever since I posted - but recently I bought this P90X program after my friend would not stop talking about it. Its a 90 day program that you buy and it comes with a nutritional plan, workout videos and documentation to help you along the way. If you go on YouTube there are tons of transformational videos, unfortunately most of them are men and I am most interested to see how well it works for women.

I started today and I am doing the "Lean" program. I got my diet plan all set up this weekend and made sure I followed the portion and allowed foods according to my nutrition level. Just had breakfast and I am actually really full, so this may be the diet for me...haha.
Here is what I will eat today:

Breakfast:
6 Egg whites, 2 tbsp tabasco, 1 cup cottage cheese, 2 slices of whole wheat bread

Workout:
Core Synergistics

Snack:
3 oz. chicken, 1 cup grapes

Lunch:
3 oz chicken, 1 cup broccoli, 1 tbsp olive oil

Snack:
3 oz chicken, 1 cup cottage cheese

Dinner:
3 oz chicken, 1 cup carrots, 8 oz. nonfat plain yogurt


This is the "Fat Shredder" phase of the program, there are three phases total and then you have the option of starting the 90 days over with a more intense version of the program. Alot of people say the workouts kick your ass and that they dont make it too far - but that people who are in average shape when they start and go through the entire 3 phases end up with PERFECT bodies.

So, we will see.
I think the hardest part will be sticking to it - staying on diet and doing all the exercises correctly and daily :) I will see how it goes....
