Lemonade Diet Day 2


So its the morning of my second day and I did pretty well yesterday. I didn't feel hungry for the most part and I didn't cheat at all - although I still had the natural urge to grab a cracker and almost throw it in my mouth out of habit but then I stopped myself.

Last night was the hardest part I would say. My mouth would water any time food came on the tv and my boyfriend's food smelled extra amazing - BUT I'm doing this for a reason and I wont be food deprived forever and so I stuck it out and now I feel great.


I am not going to be doing the salt water flush - only because my boyfriend forbid it. He said that people die from drinking salt water and that he thought that was a terrible idea. (He found out about my diet yesterday). He supports my plan because he knows I want to have a fresh start and be healthy and reap the health benefits, but of course he doesn't want me to get sick or put myself in danger.

I wasn't able to drink the entire 10 cups of lemonade mix - I think its because I got started later in the day and it is ALOT of liquid. I read that it is ok if you drink 6 - 10 cups a day, so that is good. I will drink the rest today and then make more.

The herbal tea was definitly a nice way to end the day. It tasted really sweet in comparison to the lemonade so it felt like a desert and the fact that it was so warm eliminated any hunger and helped me sleep really well. Infact, I slept reeeeally well last night and feel great this morning.


Haven't weighed myself yet but I feel 10 pounds lighter already. I also noticed that I do feel a heightened sense of smell - at least when it comes to food. haha.

I think today will be good, I would even like to do some light exercising. :) Tomorrow I hear is the absolute worst because that is when your body really flips the switch and goes into ketosis. This is where your body starts burning stored fat for energy and essentially goes into starvation mode. Doesnt sound very good at all, but this is where you start expelling tons of toxins.

Lemonade Diet Day 1


Okay, so I didnt start out with the salt flush this morning because I didnt have the right salt, but I did take a long walk downtown today to pick up some ingredients and was able to find the right tea and salt.

When it came time to mix the ingredients together today I decided to just do the whole days worth so that I could get it over with. The downside of that is that there is a ton of liquid and I actually had to stir it in a cooking pot and then use 2 carafes to store the drink in the fridge.

Once it was prepared I was a little scared. The color = disgusting. The smell = disgusting. Not the most appealing thing Ive ever seen or smelled. It looks like piss so I know that if I take this to work with me that its going to have to be in a colored bottle. haha.

I stored it in the fridge until it was cold and just drank a fair amount. I dont feel hungry at all, infact I feel pretty satisfied. The taste is not soo bad - I think the spicyness of the cayanne pepper makes it funny, but its totally bearable. Right after I mixed it up I didnt think I would be about to go through with it - but after drinking some I actually feel pretty confident that it wont be so bad.

Will drink as much as I can today and then have the tea tonight. Tomorrow I will post about how my night went and what I am feeling like. So far I feel great. I didnt ease into this as recommended so I hope that the next few days arent too jarring.

Lemonade Diet


So, I have read alot about it and have decided to try the Lemonade diet - also known as the Master Cleanse diet. I think it will help me drop a few pounds - but more importantly I hear that its fasting technique rids the body of toxins that are induced by bad diet, lack of exercise and "negative mental attitudes."I would like to see if after doing this I feel lighter, more clear headed and happy.

I'm am not generally an unhealthy person but I would like to try it anyhow to see if I can reap the benefits. Right now I am 110 pounds and 27 years old so I will track how I feel each day and my weight.

Here is the recipe:

Lemonade Diet Recipe

For at least 10 days, drink around 10 servings/day of the following:

  • 2 Tablespoons (1 fluid ounce) fresh-squeezed lemon juice (approx. 1/2 lemon)
  • 2 Tablespoons (1 fluid ounce) organic Grade B maple syrup
  • 1/10 Teaspoon or more cayenne pepper
  • 1 Cup (8 fluid ounces) purified or spring water, not fluoridated water.

Salt-Water Flush Recipe

Upon rising drink a mixture of:

  • 2 level teaspoons of uniodized sea salt to a quart of lukewarm water
Then each night you are supposed to drink an herbal laxative tea, but I went to the grocery store yesterday and could not find one so I don't know if I will be able to do that part. Maybe I will try another store today....

This ten day regime is supposed to be a complete intestinal cleanse. I am interested to see the results. I will see how I feel on the tenth day - and if I am doing well I will go for 14 days.

Whatever is going on in your mind is what you are attracting

Your thoughts cause your feelings


Thoughts that bring about good feelings mean you are on the right track. Thoughts that bring about bad feelings means you are not on the right track.


Whatever it is you are feeling is a perfect reflection of what is in the process of becoming



Happy feelings will attract more happy circumstances


You can begin feeling whatever you want (even if it's not there).. the universe will correspond to the nature of your song

What you focus on with your thought and feeling is what you attract into your experience
