
So, I have read alot about it and have decided to try the Lemonade diet - also known as the Master Cleanse diet. I think it will help me drop a few pounds - but more importantly I hear that its fasting technique rids the body of toxins that are induced by bad diet, lack of exercise and "negative mental attitudes."I would like to see if after doing this I feel lighter, more clear headed and happy.
I'm am not generally an unhealthy person but I would like to try it anyhow to see if I can reap the benefits. Right now I am 110 pounds and 27 years old so I will track how I feel each day and my weight.
Here is the recipe:
Lemonade Diet Recipe
For at least 10 days, drink around 10 servings/day of the following:
- 2 Tablespoons (1 fluid ounce) fresh-squeezed lemon juice (approx. 1/2 lemon)
- 2 Tablespoons (1 fluid ounce) organic Grade B maple syrup
- 1/10 Teaspoon or more cayenne pepper
- 1 Cup (8 fluid ounces) purified or spring water, not fluoridated water.
Salt-Water Flush Recipe
Upon rising drink a mixture of:
- 2 level teaspoons of uniodized sea salt to a quart of lukewarm water
This ten day regime is supposed to be a complete intestinal cleanse. I am interested to see the results. I will see how I feel on the tenth day - and if I am doing well I will go for 14 days.
